From either direction on State Highway 2 in the village of Clive turn-off SH2 onto Mill Road - signposted "Cape Kidnappers".

Go through the roundabout staying on Mill Road.

Cross the bridge over the Tukituki River.

Stay on Mill Road turning left towards Haumoana and Te Awanga.

Turn right onto Parkhill Road towards Te Awanga.

Turn left onto East Road towards Te Awanga.

When you reach the ocean turn right onto Clifton Road towards Te Awanga.

Pass through Te Awanga village staying on Clifton Road, and once clear of the village Te Awanga Cottages entrance is the second driveway on your left.
